Cable e-bill launched

Leading the way forward with internet related initiatives, Cable & Wireless Seychelles has announced today (03 March 2003) the launch of a new value-added service, Cable e-bill to all fixed line customers.

Cable e-bill is a password-protected internet application that gives customers a great opportunity to view information about their bills on line. It has been designed to further improve the service that the company provides by delivering electronic customer invoices quickly as well as providing a repository of bill information for analysis by the customer. Moreover, it gives customer the ability to monitor, control and manage their calls at their fingertips.

To subscribe to Cable e-bill, customers can either visit any Cable & Wireless Seychelles Customer Services Centres on Mahe, Praslin or La Digue or simply write a letter requesting for the service. Once the application has been processed, a username and password will be provided.

Pascal Esparon, Divisional Manager Internet Protocol Services is ensuring that the service will be developed in line with the customers' evolving needs. For example, developments underway include the ability to manage other services aspects such as service order management and faults reporting and tracking.

"this will increase customer convenience, allowing real-time, online updates of fixed line bills and reflects our aim to offer innovative web-based services which offer real value to all our customers."

There is no cost for Cable e-bill.
