Cable & Wireless Seychelles sponsors "Creole Festival 2004"

In its drive to continuously work in partnership with the community, Cable &Wireless Seychelles has sponsored SR6000 (Seychelles Rupees) towards the Creole Festival 2004 to be held from the 23rd to the 31st of October 2004.

The money will be used towards the "Konkour Diskour", which is a competition opened to all secondary and post secondary students aged between fifteen and thirty, and to district youth club members with the aim of giving young people the opportunity to research the Creole language. The competition also enables them to master and discover the beauty of this language.

A cheque presentation took place last month in the presence of the chairperson of the Creole Festival committee and other sponsors.
