Cable & Wireless unveils BlackBerry® Seychelles' first all-in-one mobile communication solution!
Today, the 1st of August 2008, at a launch event held at the Eden House on Eden Island, Cable & Wireless Seychelles (CWS) unveiled the world's leading wireless enterprise solution, BlackBerry®, to more than 150 invitees that included local business entrepreneurs and Government officials.
BlackBerry® is a comprehensive wireless communication solution that keeps mobile professionals connected to people and information whilst on the move. It provides users around the world with secure, wireless access to a suite of business applications including email, corporate data, mobile phone, instant messaging, web browser, calendar, contacts and more - all in the palm of the hand! Being a first for Seychelles, local users will now be able to manage such applications out of the office, anytime and anywhere on the islands where Cable & Wireless has mobile coverage.
Though it can be used as a mobile phone, BlackBerry's® power lies in its ability to 'push' email automatically from the company's server to the end user whilst synchronizing the information on the server with the BlackBerry® device.
