What countries can I call with Aldabra?
Calls can be made to any destination, exclusive of calls to satellites, Iridium, Inmarsat, Thuraya and premium numbers.
How can Aldabra benefit me?

The rate per minute above applies to calls to any European country* and to Australia, Bangladesh, Canada, China, Hong Kong,India, Indonesia, Kenya, Malaysia, Mauritius, Nigeria, Philippines, Qatar, Singapore, South Africa, Sri Lanka, Thailand, UAE and USA.
You will be charged a flat rate of SR6 per minute (incl.GST) for calls to any other country. However, this rate is still less than the standard international call charges.
*Except Albania, Belarus and Latvia.
• Availability & Convenience: The cards are available,weekdays and weekends, in some retail shops on Mahe, Praslin, La Digue, and also at any Cable & Wireless Customer Services Centre.
• Control: Aldabra is prepaid, so you do not have to worry about monthly rentals and monthly bills. You pay for your calls in advance and spend as little or as much as you can afford.
How does the Aldabra card work?
To make calls:
- Scratch gently from the centre of the ID panel
- Dial 107 from your phone
- When prompted, enter your 12 digits card number followed by #
- Dial your destination number followed by #
I don’t have a Cable & Wireless phone, how can I use the card?
You can either get a Cable Prepaid/Postpaid SIM card or use the card on any of our payphones. Our SIM cards are available in all the retailers’ shops and at our Customer Service Centres.
What phone can I use with the Aldabra card?
The card is to be used on any Cable & Wireless phone:
- Fixed line
- Fixed cellular
- Cable Postpaid
- Cable Prepaid
- Payphones
Am I going to be charged anything on my regular phone?
No. As long as you use the 107 access number, you will not get charged anything extra.
I am on Cable Prepaid; will I be consuming my credits when using Aldabra?
No. Your top up credits will remain the same as long as you are using Aldabra to make your international call.
