Cable Gift card is a card on which customers with Cable Points can transfer their points and/or cash, and give it to someone as a gift. Where can I buy the gift card?
There is no charge for the card itself but one has to transfer points or load cash onto the card when purchasing it. Only our customers who are registered to our Cable Points program can purchase the gift card, and this can be done at any of our Customer Service Centres.
How does it work?
Once you have been given a Gift Card you will need to activate it by dialing 2 600 700 from any local mobile number from any local service provider. When you use the card, a 4 digit OTP code (PIN) will be sent to the mobile used to activate the card. Gift Card recipient needs to therefore ensure that the mobile is with them at the time of redemption to receive the OTP code. To check your balance, call 2 600 700. The gift card is valid for 6 months from the day of activation. You don’t necessarily have to redeem all the points or cash at one go, but do ensure you use it within the 6 month expiry limit.
What are the benefits of a Gift Card?
Giving a gift card allows the recipient to access a vast array of gifts from our partners. It is not restrictive like a voucher, which can only be spent in one place. As well as giving access to our loyalty items for customers with insufficient Cable Points
